How to Draw a Panda – A Step by Step Guide

1. Baby Panda Drawing

In this artical on how to draw a panda in 7 steps to help you drawing a baby panda with ease!

Step 1: Start by drawing an oval for the head, followed by a larger oval slightly overlapping for the body.

Step 2: Draw the arms and body

Draw the curve lines as shown the picture for baby panda’s body

From the sides of the body, draw two oval shapes on each side to represent the baby panda’s arms.

Step 3: Add the ears and legs

On either side of the head, draw two rounded triangle shapes for the ears

Below the arms, draw two slightly angled lines for the legs.

Step 4: Adding Facial Features

Pandas have black patches around their eyes, so draw curved shapes on both sides of the head to represent these distinctive markings.

Just below the eyes, sketch a small triangular nose

In each ear, add an inner outline using curved lines.

Step 5: Draw two small circles for the eyes and smaller circles inside the eyes for the pupils, draw curve lines for the smiling mouth.

Step 6: Refine the details

Add details such as the baby panda’s rounded cheeks.

Add small ovals within each paw to represent the toes.

2. Cute Panda Drawing

Step 1: Begin by drawing a large, slightly elongated circle for the head

Step 2: Inside the head, draw two large circles for the eyes, draw an oval shape bellow the eyes for the panda snout

Step 3: Draw the Eyes, Nose and Mouth

Within each eye, draw a smaller circle for the pupils.

Just below the eyes, draw a small oval shape for the nose.

Draw a gentle curve below the nose to form the mouth.

Step 4: To give pandas their special face appearance, draw two oval shapes around each eye.

Step 6: From the bottom of the head, draw a curved line extending downwards to form the sides of the panda’s body

Step 1: Start by sketching a large oval the panda’s head.

Draw the eyes as oval shapes, with a black outline.
