2. How to Draw Sailor Moon easy for kids
Step 1: Draw the Forelock
Sketch the front bangs: a rounded fringe with several long curved tufts that come down toward the eyes.
Make the central bangs slightly longer and more distinct.

Step 2: Add the Side Hair and Head Shape
From the bangs, draw two long, flowing side hair sections that curve down past the cheeks.
On top-left and top-right of the head, draw two rounded bun shapes. They should be slightly above the forehead and partly overlapped by hair.
Add small inner circles to each bun to suggest volume.
From each bun, draw the long twin-tail hair strands flowing down. Make them thick at the top and taper slightly toward the ends.
Add a few inner curved hair lines to show separate sections and movement.

Step 3: Shape the jaw and chin by drawing smooth lines from the sides of the head down to a small pointed chin.

Step 4: Place the Facial Features
Eyes: On the horizontal guideline, draw two large oval eyes spaced about one eye’s width apart. Add upper eyelids, lashes, and the characteristic big irises.
Nose: A tiny curved mark or dot between the eyes and mouth.
Mouth: A small simple curved line slightly below the nose.
Between the bangs and the forehead, draw the sailor tiara: a narrow, slightly curved band across the forehead.
Add a small jewel in the center of the tiara. Sketch small earrings beside each eye.

Step 5: Add small reflection highlights in the eyes and a small lower eyelid line for the cute, manga-style look.
Draw two short lines below the chin for the neck.
Sketch the top of the sailor collar: two curved shapes at the shoulders and a small bow at the chest.

Step 6: Refine the bangs and side hair — add more little tufts and hair strands.
Add inner lines in the buns and along the tails to indicate hair flow and volume.

Step 7: Coloring
Hair: color the odango and twin tails golden yellow. Use a slightly darker yellow or light brown to shade the roots and inner curves.
Skin: use a light peach tone. Add soft blush on the cheeks.
Eyes: choose bright blue; shade the top of the iris darker and leave highlights white.
Tiara jewel: color it red or blue and add a small white highlight.
Bow and collar: color classic navy and red for the bow.
