How to draw Vegeta – A Step by Step Guide

1. Vegeta Drawing Easy

Step 1: Draw Vegeta’s eyes and eyebrows, which are key to capturing his intense expression.

Draw two sharp, slanted eyes with small pupils. The eyebrows should be thick and angled downward toward the center to show determination and pride.

Step 2: Below the eyes, draw a small nose with a short, curved line.

Then add a serious mouth — a straight line with a small shadow underneath to give a firm, confident look.

You can also sketch a few light marks on the forehead to hint at wrinkles caused by his focused expression.

Step 3: Next, outline Vegeta’s jawline and chin.

Start from both sides of the eyes and curve down sharply to form his strong, angular face.

His chin should come to a point — don’t make it too round.

Step 4: Now, draw Vegeta’s neck and shoulders, then add his Saiyan armor.

Begin with the curved neckline of his armor, then sketch the wide shoulder pads extending outward.

Make sure the armor has the thick, layered look, with lines showing where it wraps around his chest.

Step 5: Add Vegeta’s ears on both sides of the head, positioned at eye level.

Inside the ears, draw small details like inner curves to make them more realistic.

Refine the lines of the eyebrows, eyes, and mouth — this will help lock in his intense expression.

Step 6: Now for Vegeta’s most iconic feature — his spiky Saiyan hair!

Start from the forehead and draw large, sharp spikes pointing upward.

Each spike should vary in size and angle, but all should point mostly upward.

The middle spikes are tallest, and the side ones curve slightly outward.

Step 7: Once the sketch looks good, outline your drawing with a black pen or marker.

Fill in Vegeta’s hair completely black — this gives him his signature look.

Add shading under the chin, along the neck, and under the armor collar to give a sense of depth.

Finally, erase unnecessary pencil lines to make the drawing clean and crisp.

2. Majin Vegeta Drawing

Step 1: Start with the Eyes and Eyebrows

Begin by drawing Vegeta’s fierce eyes — narrow, sharp, and angled downward to show his anger.

Add his thick eyebrows, slightly curved and drawn low over the eyes to give that intense, determined look.

Don’t forget to sketch the pupil and small wrinkles under the eyes for more expression.

Step 2: Now, move down to the center of the face and draw Vegeta’s small pointed nose with a sharp bridge.

Then, add his mouth, curved in a smirk or serious frown — depending on how fierce you want him to look.

Step 3: Draw the Face Shape and Ears

Sketch the outline of Vegeta’s face — a strong jawline with sharp angles and a slightly pointed chin.

Add his ears on both sides, keeping them at eye level.
Inside the ears, draw a few small lines for realistic details.

Finally, draw the Majin symbol (the letter “M”) right in the middle of his forehead, between the eyebrows.

This mark is what defines him as Majin Vegeta.

Step 4: Add the Neck, Shoulders, and Upper Body

Now that the face is complete, move on to Vegeta’s muscular neck and shoulders.

Draw thick neck muscles extending down from the jaw.

Then sketch his armor lines on the chest and shoulder area — the traditional Saiyan suit design.

Add a few wrinkles in the armor to make it more realistic and battle-worn.

Step 5: Draw Vegeta’s Hair

Start from the forehead and draw large, upward spikes, with each strand tapering to a sharp point.

Make sure the hair looks wild and full, spreading evenly around the top of the head.

Add inner hairline details for texture and depth.

Step 6: Add Final Details and Shading

Finish the drawing by going over all your lines with black ink or a dark pen.

Add shadows under the chin, around the neck, and inside the armor to enhance realism.

Shade his hair tips and facial lines, and darken the Majin mark for that signature fierce energy.

You can also shade around his eyes to make him look more intense — the classic Majin Vegeta stare.

3. Vegeta Super Saiyan Drawing

Step 1: Begin by sketching the basic shape of Vegeta’s face — a strong jawline with a sharp chin.

Then, draw his eyes, which should be narrow and slanted to express determination and power.

Add his eyebrows, angled steeply downward toward the nose, and a small frown to complete his serious look.

Finally, draw his ear on the side and add a few wrinkles around the forehead and eyes for intensity.

Step 2: Next, sketch Vegeta’s Super Saiyan hair — tall, spiky, and sharp.

Each hair spike should point upward and vary in size, giving the impression of flowing energy.

Start from the hairline and work your way up to the top of the head, keeping the spikes symmetrical on both sides.

Add a few inner lines inside the hair to show texture and direction.

Step 3: Now, move down to the neck and upper torso.

Draw Vegeta’s thick neck muscles and the base of his Saiyan armor around the shoulders.

The armor curves smoothly around the chest, so keep the lines slightly rounded.

You can also begin sketching his shoulder guards — large and slightly raised at the edges.

Step 4: Refine the armor by adding chest panels and armor lines.

You can see the front chest piece and the shoulder straps clearly in this step.

Add details like the collar line, some muscle definition under the armor, and shading to show depth.

Start refining Vegeta’s ear and jawline as well for a cleaner look.

Step 5: Enhance the drawing by adding aura lines or crackling energy effects around Vegeta.

You can also sketch small motion lines or broken particles floating around him to suggest intense power.

Darken the shadows under the chin, around the neck, and between the armor layers to make the figure pop.

This step gives the drawing more dynamism and realism.

Step 6: Thicken the outer lines of Vegeta’s silhouette for a strong contrast.

Add shading to his face, neck, and armor — especially under the chin, near the shoulders, and behind the hair.

Finally, shade or fill in the background with dark aura lines to emphasize his Super Saiyan power-up scene.

4. How To Draw Vegeta Fly

Step 1: Sketch the Face Outline and Eyes

Start by drawing the outline of Vegeta’s face — a sharp, strong jawline with a slightly tilted head to show his flying angle.

Next, add his furrowed eyebrows and intense eyes looking straight ahead.

Draw his nose and mouth with a fierce expression to capture his determined, angry look.

Step 2: Add the Hair and Refine Facial Details

Now, sketch Vegeta’s iconic spiky hairline, keeping the points sharp and rising upward.

Add more definition to his eyes, nose, and mouth, and include the forehead wrinkles that show his focus.

Step 3: Draw the Upper Body and Arms

Begin shaping Vegeta’s shoulders and torso, leaning forward to emphasize his flying motion.

Draw both arms bent in front of him, fists clenched tightly as if he’s charging ahead.

Outline the muscular structure of his upper arms and chest to show his strength.

Make sure his head and body form a smooth, dynamic line pointing forward.

Step 4: Add the Legs and Battle Armor

Extend the body by sketching Vegeta’s legs and waist, keeping them smaller since they’re farther away in perspective.

Then, draw the details of his Saiyan armor — the chest plate, gloves, and boots.

This step gives structure to his entire body and makes him look like he’s truly mid-flight.

Step 5: Draw the Hair Spikes and Power Details

Now, complete Vegeta’s Super Saiyan-style hair, giving each spike volume and direction.

Add details to his armor, muscles, and gloves for realism.

You can also sketch energy lines or motion streaks around him to enhance the flying effect.

Make sure all the lines flow toward the direction he’s flying — forward and slightly upward.

Step 6: Finalize with Inking and Shadows

Go over your drawing with a black pen to finalize Vegeta’s outline.

Add bold shadows on his arms, armor, and under his chin to create depth and power.

Finish by drawing energy waves or speed lines behind him to show how fast he’s flying.

Now Vegeta looks fierce, determined, and ready to strike at full power!
